About Us

Michelle is a Speech Language Pathologist who has been providing pediatric and adult services since 1994 in a variety of settings and capacities including clinics, hospitals, schools, daycares, residential facilities, and homes.  She has extensive experience with a wide range of diagnoses and therapeutic interventions.  Michelle tailors intervention for each person’s needs, incorporating the family/caregivers into the therapeutic process.  Using a whole-body, whole-family approach to intervention, she utilizes technologies and develops methods of treatments, incorporating techniques learned from Occupational and Physical Therapists as well as Psychologists, Cognitive Therapists and other medical professionals.  In addition to other certifications in the field, Michelle is also a ™VitalStim provider for adults and children with swallowing impairments.

Michelle believes in the never-ending potential of children, in the wisdom of the young at heart, and that we never stop learning.  She has developed several techniques including ™‘Nudge not Push’, which utilizes strengths as the foundation for learning and achieving new goals. It has been rumored that she works with young children so that she can play with awesome toys, and is often referred to as the ‘Child Whisperer’.
